Valentines Day In Alabasta

The sun rises on a new day. But it's not just any day. It's the day that comes once a year. Valentines Day. The Straw Hats return to Alabasta to visit their friends and honorary Princess Vivi and her spot billed duck Carue. On this day, it tells the stories of a three couples and their struggles on this very holiday.

In a hotel in Alubarne, Luffy is approached by his half sister Aika and her puppy and Kumi. Aika gives a flower to her big brother for Valentines Day.

Aika-Happy Valentines Day Big Brother.

Luffy smiles and hugs his little sister.

Luffy-Thanks little sis. Well, Nami and I are going to go out for today. Blizzard, Nick, take care of Aika while we are gone.

Nick-You can count on us.

Blizzard-(That's right!)

Nami-Luffy. Let's go.

Luffy-Coming.

As Luffy and Nami leave, Nick, and the Canine trio huddle up.

Aika-Big Brother and Big Sister are going to love this surprise.

Kumi-(So what do we do?)

Nick-Well. Zoro is napping while Robin is reading a book, as Sanji went for some supplies. So let's give them a special surprise for Valentines Day.

Luffy and Nami

Luffy and Nami walk through the city of Alubarne doing some doing some lunch and shopping. They are planning on their wedding that's coming soon.

Nami-I'm glad we get to spend Valentine's Day with each other.

Luffy-Shishishi. Same here. Well, our wedding is coming up soon, I can't wait for that to come.

Nami-Yeah.

As Luffy and Nami walk through the streets they are secretly being followed, Luffy looks at a store and decides to stop there for a bit. Nami also looks at a bakery and decides to stop there.

Luffy-Well. Nami's going to love this.

Luffy leaves the store and meets with Nami who is also carrying a gift.

Luffy-Nami.

Nami-Hey sweetie. Listen, I got you a little...

Just then, Nami gets shot in the arm. Luffy looks in horror and sees a man in a black jacket with a gun in his hand.

Luffy-Bastard! How dare you attack my fiance.

Man-So what. When I heard the pirate king is coming here, I decided to collect your head to be very rich. In fact, I would get a bonus if I killed both you and Cat Burglar here.

Luffy seethes at this and yells.

Luffy-LEAVE US ALONE YOU CREEP!

Luffy unleashes a burst of Haki to knock out the bounty hunter. He then, kills him with a Haki imbued fist.

Luffy-And stay dead.

Luffy then approaches Nami and helps her up.

Luffy-You okay?

Nami-Yeah.

Luffy-How about we go back to the hotel?

Nami-Yeah.

Luffy and Nami kiss and head back with their gifts.

Zoro and Robin

Zoro is waking up from his nap and then he sees Nick, Blizzard, and the weakling duo of Usopp and Chopper carrying some things.

Zoro-What are you guys doing?

Nick-Nothing.

Zoro-For the record. It's the oldest lie ever.

Usopp-Run.

The four ran away with Zoro confused as Robin appears. But the archaeologist is a bit sluggish recently.

Robin-Hey there tiger.

Zoro-Hey Robin. Are you feeling okay?

Robin-Yeah. I am. Zoro, can we go some place private. Off the ship.

Zoro-Sure.

Zoro and Robin leave which is noticed by Chopper.

Chopper-They left the ship. Let's tell Franky and Brook right away.

Usopp-Right.

Zoro and Robin are at a city plaza sitting on a bench. Robin is worried about the news she wants to tell Zoro.

Zoro-Is there something you want to tell me.

Robin-Zoro...I know you don't like kids but...

Zoro-But...?

Robin-I'm not sure If I wanna tell you this but, just three months ago, when we did our checkups, Chopper found something.

~Flashback Three months ago~

Robin is in the Sick Bay, and Chopper finished a check up on Robin.

Chopper-Robin. While I looked through your test results, I discovered something.

Robin-What is it?

Chopper-It seems that your womb has an egg inside. Robin, you're going to have a baby in nine months.

Robin-I would love to have a child of my own one day. But, I'm not certain Zoro would want that.

~Flashback end~

Zoro-You mean you're pregnant. And for three months now?

Robin-I didn't know what to tell you. Because I thought that you...

Zoro kisses Robin to cut her off.

Zoro-Robin. I always loved you. And to be honest, despite what you think. I always wanted a family of my own. I didn't have any brothers or sisters like Luffy and Nami, much less a parent like you. But, after being with you and the others for so long, I might enjoy having a child with you.

Robin-Oh Zoro.

Robin and Zoro embrace each other showing their love together.

Sanji and Vivi

In Alubarne, Sanji is carrying groceries while chasing some of the women around the town. Moments later, he has a few bruises mostly from the women he was chasing.

Sanji-Man. Women sure know how to play hard to get.

Just then, Sanji sees a cloaked figure carrying a few ingredients for a chocolate recipe. Sanji recognizes the scent of beautiful woman when he sees one. He then approaches the figure.

Sanji-Excuse me miss. Mind If I help you with...

Sanji sees who the hooded figure is, and it is actually Nefertari Vivi, the princess of Alabasta and an honorary member of the Straw Hats.

Sanji-VIVI-CHAN!

Vivi suddenly quiets him as she doesn't want anyone to know it was her.

Vivi-Sorry. But I don't want to attract any attention to myself.

Sanji-My sincerest apologies. But what are you doing with those chocolate ingredients?

Vivi-Mind helping me with something?

Vivi and Sanji are at the kitchen in the Royal Palace.

Sanji-So you wanted to make Valentines Day Chocolates?

Vivi-That's right. I wanted make a special valentines cake for someone special. Mind helping me with that?

Sanji-For you my lady.

Sanji helps Vivi by making the cake mix. They added the eggs, milk, and flower for batter. They placed it in the oven and makes a cake.

After picking out some accessories. Vivi decorates her heart shaped cake and decorates it with pink and read hearts and white toppings.

Sanji-Well. They cake certainly looks great.

Vivi-I want you to try it. To be honest. It's my gift to you.

Sanji is in shock of what Vivi said.

Vivi-I really love you Sanji. That's why I wanted to make this cake for you. I wanted you to help me, because I wanted to spend time with you.

Sanji kisses Vivi on the lips and smiles.

Sanji-And it worked. How about we go meet the others at the hotel.

At the hotel, the three couples appear and an is awestruck of what it is. The lobby is decorated with heart shaped balloons, with pink, red, and white roses. The tables are decorated, and the rest of the crew appears along with Carue and Eyelash.

Usopp, Chopper, Franky, Aika, and Nick-HAPPY VALENTINES DAY YOU THREE.

The three couples are happy of what they witnessed. A Valentines Day party just for the six of them.

The party begins as many couples that live in Alubarne arrive to join the festivities. Luffy gives Nami his present. A diamond necklace as Nami gives Luffy a special chocolate cake. Zoro and Robin along with Sanji and Vivi enjoy the cake they both made together.

Aika gets on stage along with Nick and Brook. The two play their instruments as Aika beings to sing.
